Call for Tutorials and Workshops
Besides the main conference, the ACPR-2025 will solicit proposals for high-quality tutorials and workshops on any of the core topics of the conference. We are particularly interested in applications such as disaster management, flood prediction, bushfire forecasting, etc.
Call for Tutorials (Download the pdf version)
The 8th Asian Conference on Pattern Recognition (ACPR 2025) Organizing Committee invites proposals for tutorials in conjunction with the main conference, which will be held on the stunning Gold Coast of Australia, from November 10 to 13, 2025. We welcome tutorial proposals, which cover topics related to the ACPR 2025 theme at introductory or advanced levels to complement the main conference program. For ACPR 2025, the conference theme is “Advancing Pattern Recognition: Bridging the Gap Between Theory and Real-World Applications”. The goal of the tutorials is to foster collaboration between researchers, practitioners, and industry leaders through exploring the foundational algorithms and models in pattern recognition to the innovative ways they’re being applied across industries like healthcare, finance, autonomous systems, and cybersecurity. We also encourage and consider topics related to use of AI and pattern recognition, machine vision for climate change and disaster management i.e. floods and bushfires. The tutorials can be organised as either half-day (preferred) or full-day events.
Note: proposals that focus exclusively on commercial presentations will not be accepted.
